I am Leon Burks and I’m truly excited to be coming to Phoenix Arizona to teach "Jumpstart Your Leadership". This workshop will be an extreme value packed day filled with tons of nuggets to raise your leadership awareness.
As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker, I will be holding the "Jumpstart Your Leadership workshop, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team in the desired direction to reach your goals.
Since graduating from of the United States Military Academy at West Point I’ve held many leadership roles. I’ve been a Combat Leader. Once leaving military service I served as a Project Engineer for various oil and gas companies. I’ve also held the position Project Manager, a PMO (Project Management Office) Director, Supply Chain Manager, trainer and outside leadership and training consultant. What has attributed to my success is an uncanny ability to trim the fat in business bureaucracy and execute effectively.

Session 1 8:45 -9:45: Becoming a Person of Influence

Session 2 10:00 – 11:00: Everyone Communicates Few Connect
If you want to succeed, you must learn how to connect with people. And while it may seem like some folks are just born with it, the fact is anyone can learn how to make every communication an opportunity for a powerful connection. In Everyone Communicates, Few Connect, Maxwell shares the Five Principles and Five Practices to develop the crucial skill of connecting.
Session 3 11:15 – 12:00: Invaluable Laws of Growth
In order to reach your potential, you must be intentional about personal growth. This training curriculum will help you understand how personal growth really works, and how you can develop yourself to become a more effective and fulfilled individual. You will learn how to build up your sense of purpose and become more successful in every area of your life.
